Allan Fong

Allan Fong is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Ergo Consulting Ltd since January 2016, specializing in power systems protection and possessing extensive experience in protection for LV up to 110kV power systems within New Zealand's power utilities. Proficient in technical and protection studies using Digsilent and ETAP, Allan has configured various protection relays, including SEL and Siemens. Prior to this role, Allan served as a Teaching Assistant and Student Mentor at AUT University and worked as an Electrical PAT tester. Allan's technical background includes automotive servicing and diagnostics, gained through positions as an Automotive and Fabrication Technician at Jtune Automotive and as a Qualified Automotive Technician at Honda New Zealand Ltd. Allan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Auckland University of Technology and a Certificate in Automotive Engineering from Manukau Institute of Technology.
