Ergonomics is the study of how the human body interacts with the environment. As we are all different shapes and sizes with different work demands, our workstations need to be individualised to our needs to avoid accidents or injuries occurring. Ergonomic assessments can be useful in minimizing absences from work as a healthy workplace increases job satisfaction, enhances recovery and reduces disability. Applying ergonomics principles is beneficial to both the employer and employee. Fit for Work's occupational safety consulting and ergonomics services incorporate these ergonomic principles so that you/your employees’ can improve posture, reduce strain and increase productivity
