Daniela Castaño Mejía has a diverse work experience in sales, business development, finance, and project management. Daniela started their career as a Finance Intern at Agganis Arena at Boston University in 2008. Daniela then worked as a Project Manager at C.I. IMPORTEX S.A., where they were responsible for coordinating the setup of a petrochemical distillation plant and promoting the company's products internationally. Daniela joined Unilever in 2012 as a Finance Specialist, where they analyzed the financial impact of promotional activities and innovations for various national and international brands. After that, they returned to C.I. IMPORTEX S.A. as a Sales Director and later became the Director of Business Development. In these roles, they expanded the company's market presence in Latin America, the United States, and China, by exploring new markets and sourcing new suppliers. Currently, Daniela is the Sales Director Latin America at Ergon Inc., leading sales efforts in the region.
Daniela Castaño Mejía attended Boston University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration. In 2011 to 2012, they pursued a specialization in Financial Administration at the Universidad de Los Andes. In 2016, Daniela completed a Diploma in Strategic Sales Management at the Cámara de Comercio. Lastly, in 2017 to 2018, they participated in the Programa Desarrollo Directivo at the INALDE Business School.
