Sam Tedawes

Sam Tedawes, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Ergoteles Capital since December 2020. With extensive experience in finance, Tedawes held various leadership positions at Point72 from August 2004 to April 2019, including Director of Finance, Director of Valuations, Director of Profit and Loss Reporting, and Manager of Profit and Loss Reconciliations. In these roles, responsibilities encompassed overseeing substantial asset allocations, managing multi-portfolio valuations, implementing P&L databases, and leading finance teams. Prior to Point72, Tedawes worked at Credit Suisse as Vice President and gained early experience at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and Dean Witter Reynolds (Morgan Stanley). Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Hunter College and a Professional Certificate in Risk Management, Alternative Investments from the New York Institute of Finance.
