William Grant Hatcher D.sc.

William Grant Hatcher, D.Sc., is an accomplished data scientist and software engineer currently working at Erias Ventures since February 2021 and serving as a graduate research assistant at Towson University since January 2016. Hatcher has notable experience as a data science intern at ClearEdge, where key projects included configuring Jupyterhub ML servers and implementing machine translation software. Previous roles include associate engineer at TCOM, L.P., and engineering intern at Lion Brothers Company, Inc. Hatcher holds a Doctor of Science in Information Technology and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Towson University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Maryland. Contributions to the field include co-authoring the publication "Machine Learning for Security and the Internet of Things: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly."
