Christian Gerlach

Christian Gerlach serves as the UK Country Manager at Eric Salmon & Partners, leading the executive search and leadership advisory practice while co-directing the aerospace & defence sector. Prior experience includes roles as Partner at Skillcapital, where leadership of the Industrials practice involved advisory services across multiple regions, and Managing Director/Owner at Hermes Advisors, providing strategic financial advice. Gerlach has also held investment-related positions at Comco Holding AG, Nomura International, and Lehman Brothers, focusing on corporate finance, M&A, and restructuring. Early in career, work at J.P. Morgan and Bain & Company laid a foundation in mergers and acquisitions and strategic consulting, following an education that includes an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
