Arie A. Livshin

Arie A. Livshin has a vast and varied work experience. They have worked as a Web Developer at Ericom Software since October 2017. Prior to that, Arie worked as a Freelance Software Developer, specializing in research and development, from February 2017.

Arie's most notable role was as the Co-founder and CTO of emaze, an online presentation software, where they worked from August 2008 to January 2017. They were responsible for designing and creating visually impressive presentations using proprietary HTML5 technology.

Before emaze, Arie worked as a Freelance R&D at BlueSea Software in 2008. They also co-founded FlexyKeys, a software engineering company, where they worked as a Software Engineer from April 2006 to February 2007.

Arie's earlier experience includes working as a PhD Candidate at IRCAM from 2002 to 2007, as a Software Engineer at SecureNet from 2001 to 2002, and as a Software Engineer at Proficiency in 1999. They also co-founded Intervisual, a company focused on E-commerce software development and website design, where they worked as a Web Developer from November 1996 to December 1998.

At Hebrew University, Arie worked as a Teaching Assistant from October 1996 to August 1998.

Arie A. Livshin has an extensive education history in the field of Computer Science. Arie A. holds a PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in Digital Signal Processing and Pattern Recognition applied to Audio (Music). Arie A. obtained this degree from both IRCAM and Pierre and Marie Curie University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Prior to their doctoral studies, Livshin completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, from 1996 to 2000. Arie A. began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 1991 to 1994.
