Cheryl Yuan

Cheryl Yuan currently serves as VP and Head of Global Legal Affairs at Ericsson since August 2022. Prior to this role, Cheryl Yuan was General Counsel at VEON Ventures from January 2021 to August 2022, and previously served as Deputy General Counsel for VEON from September 2015 to August 2022. Cheryl Yuan's legal expertise was further developed as a Partner and Associate at Kirkland & Ellis International LLP between August 2008 and September 2015, and as a Summer Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in 2007. Earlier career experiences include positions as Business Development Manager at QuinStreet from September 2001 to November 2004 and as an Investment Banker at Jefferies from July 2000 to August 2001. Cheryl Yuan obtained a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2008, pursued studies at Cardozo School of Law in 2005-2006, and earned a B.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University in 2000, following education at Taipei American School from 1992 to 1996.
