Ed O'Brien

Ed O'Brien is an experienced professional in Learning and Development, currently serving as the Head of Learning and Development for Europe and Latin America at Ericsson since October 2014. In this role, O'Brien leads activities for 12,000 employees in the region and mentors a dedicated team. Previously, O'Brien held the position of Regional Head of Learning and Development, where strategic learning programs were developed. O'Brien's prior experience includes roles as Managed Learning Manager at Ericsson, overseeing training for Northern Europe, as well as Product Development Manager at eir Ireland, where customer service initiatives were launched. O'Brien began the professional career as Marketing Communications Manager at Iona Software. O'Brien holds a Master’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, and Advertising from the University of Ulster and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Dublin City University.
