Hamed Farhadi

Hamed Farhadi is a leading Research Manager at Ericsson Research, where they oversee the Decision and Control research group focusing on connecting autonomous systems. They played a pivotal role in shaping the 6G vision as the Technical Manager of Hexa-X, the EU’s flagship 6G project. With significant contributions to 5G and 6G communication, Hamed has driven innovation through AI, machine learning, and advanced signal processing, resulting in numerous patents and publications. Prior to their current role, Hamed worked as a Research Fellow at Harvard, concentrating on body area networks and AI in biomedical applications. They earned their Ph.D. in Telecommunications from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where their research led to various publications and testbed implementations.
