István Gódor is a Research Leader at Ericsson Research in the Traffic Analysis and Network Performance Laboratory. They have a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and have been recognized with the 2014 IEEE Communications Society Fred W. Ellersick Prize. Gódor has authored more than 75 scientific papers and patents and serves on multiple Technical Program Committees while being a senior member of IEEE and a member of ACM and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Their research interests encompass network design, traffic analysis, energy efficiency, and the non-terrestrial extension of communication networks. Currently, they also hold a position as an Honorary Associate Professor at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
