Joachim Sachs

Joachim Sachs is a Senior Expert with extensive experience in mobile networks spanning 2G to 6G. They have held various positions at Ericsson from 2011 to 2020, including Project Manager and Principal Researcher, focusing on wireless solutions for machine-centric communication and the development of the next-generation 5G cellular system. In 2009, they served as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, where they worked on cognitive communication and spectrum sharing. Joachim holds a Dr.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin and has studied at multiple prestigious institutions, including RWTH Aachen University and the University of Strathclyde.
