Michael Cummings

Michael Cummings is an accomplished psychiatrist with extensive leadership experience in various healthcare organizations. Currently serving as the President and Owner of Behavioral Health Medical Services of New York, P.C., Michael also holds the position of Medical Director for Residential Services at Services for the UnderServed and Medical Director at NYSTART Region 2. Additionally, Michael contributes as a Clinical Advisory Board Member at BlueSprig and serves as Medical Director for Access to Psychiatry Through Intermediate Care (APIC). With a long-standing role as Associate Medical Director at Erie County Medical Center Corporation since 2001, Michael has also held leadership positions within NYSTART Regions 1 and 4, and the University at Buffalo as Vice Chair for Outreach & Community Affairs in the Department of Psychiatry. Michael holds an MD from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo and a BS in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University.
