Deneen Hughes

Deneen Hughes has extensive experience in marketing communications and career services, currently serving as a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist at Erie Insurance Group since January 2017, after previously holding the position of Customer Care Operations Supervisor. Prior to this, Deneen served as the Director of Career Services at FORTIS Colleges and Institutes from September 2013 to December 2016. Additional roles include Executive Marketing Director at Sylvan Learning Center and various leadership positions in career services at Virginia College. Deneen's career began at Sylvan Learning Centers, where significant contributions as Regional Marketing and Training Director and Marketing and Training Director were made from 1996 to 2011. Deneen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Lincoln University and attended North Carolina Central University School of Law.
