Emily Powell

Emily Powell, CPA, MSA, currently serves as a Senior Finance Accountant at Erie Insurance Group, where responsibilities include accounting and financial reporting for Erie Family Life since November 2021. Prior experience includes a position as Finance Accountant II, focusing on ceded reinsurance accounting and financial reporting. Emily has also held supervisory and managerial roles at McGill, Power, Bell & Associates, LLP, and BKD CPAs & Advisors, where extensive experience was gained in various tax-related tasks, including individual, corporate, partnership, and non-profit returns, as well as engagement reviews and compilations. Earlier career positions include Staff Accountant at Kreider & Company, LLC, a Student Technology Assistant at Robert M. Smith Student Center, and a VITA Tax Intern at the Center for Community Resources. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Slippery Rock University and a Master's of Science in Accounting from Walden University.
