Jerre McNeill, CIC has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Jerre began their career at Farmers Insurance Group of Companies, where they served as Agency President from March 2005 to March 2007. Jerre then transitioned to the role of Reserve District Manager from March 2007 to October 2008, before being promoted to District Manager in December 2008. During their time as District Manager, Jerre successfully managed the company's second-largest district in Indiana, achieving significant growth in policies in force and leading two new agents to qualify for the life bonus.
In 2011, Jerre joined Erie Insurance Group as a Senior District Sales Manager. During their time in this role, they successfully led a district of 24-30 agents and 100 staff, achieving exceptional results in DWP, new auto premium, and life collected premium. Jerre also mentored colleagues to achieve performance improvements and turned around an agency facing termination, propelling it to become one of the state's Top 10 agencies. In their final year as a DSM, Jerre drove a rapid transformation in the West Central district, ranking #2 for activity levels and submissions out of six districts in the state.
In May 2017, Jerre was promoted to the role of VP and Branch Manager at Erie Insurance Group. Leading a team of District Sales Managers, they grew the branch by 7% to $386M in premiums, achieving the company's highest profit margins. Jerre also successfully led the process of separating from the largest agency in Indiana, improving the loss ratio and driving sustainable growth.
In December 2019, Jerre took on a new challenge as VP and Branch Manager at Erie Insurance Group, where they were tasked with transforming the branch's performance and morale. Under their leadership, the branch achieved top-ranking performance across the entire company, shifting from lower production levels to improved production and sustainable growth.
Jerre McNeill, CIC, holds a Master's degree in Education from Nova Southeastern University, which was obtained between 2000 and 2001. Prior to that, McNeill earned a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Butler University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In addition, McNeill holds several certifications such as CIC (obtained in 2012), FINRA Series 6, 63, 26 (Inactive) (obtained in September 2005), and licenses in Life and Health Insurance and Property and Casualty Insurance (both obtained in 2005).
