Lauren Montgomery

Lauren Montgomery, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Lauren began their career as an Accounting Intern at Hill, Barth & King LLC in 2006. After two years, they transitioned to Erie Insurance Group, where they held various positions over a span of 13 years. Lauren started as a First Notice of Loss Representative before progressing into Project Manager roles. In 2015, they became a Project Manager II, and in 2017, they were promoted to IT Program Manager. Recently, in November 2021, they assumed the role of IT Director at Erie Insurance Group. Lauren is an experienced professional with expertise in project management and IT operations.

Lauren Montgomery, PMP, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from Pennsylvania State University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus, completing their studies from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in 2015 and Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) in 2014. Lauren is also an Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in Personal Insurance (API), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
