Nicholas Gianaris

Nicholas Gianaris, CFA, currently serves as a Portfolio Manager for Alternative Investments at Erie Insurance Group, a position held since June 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing private equity, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure investments. Previously, Nicholas held roles at Erie Insurance Group as an Associate Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst II. In addition to this role, Nicholas has been a Lecturer in Finance at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College since January 2018. Prior experience includes over 16 years at Northwest Bank, where Nicholas progressed from a Management Trainee to Senior Portfolio Manager, managing complex high-net-worth and institutional client portfolios. Nicholas began a career in finance at PaineWebber, Inc., as an Investment Executive. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Allegheny College, an MBA from Penn State Erie, and a Master's degree in Securities Analysis & Portfolio Management from Creighton University.
