Amanda Habursky

Amanda Habursky has over two decades of experience in education and special education, currently serving as the Transition Coordinator and Job Coach in the Special Education Department at Erie's Public Schools since August 2000. Previous roles at Erie's Public Schools include Job Developer, Social Studies Teacher, and Learning Support Teacher. Prior to this, Amanda worked as a Special Education Teacher and Group Home Manager at Barber National Institute from May 1994 to August 2000, and held positions such as Front Desk Receptionist at the YMCA of Greater Erie and Student/Peer Tutor at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a minor in Psychology and History from PennWest Edinboro, as well as certifications in Special Education and Cooperative Education from PennWest Edinboro and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, respectively.
