Christopher Dyer

Christopher Dyer is a Research and Development Engineer at Eriez since March 2022, specializing in advancements in the metal detection industry. Prior to this role, Christopher completed a PhD and served as a KTP Associate at Cardiff University School of Engineering, focusing on the design of embedded and magnetic systems from March 2019 to December 2022. Previous experience includes multiple internships at Renishaw, where Christopher redesigned wireless capabilities for a touch probe and developed a Six Sigma testing solution for PCB laser marking while automating the process with C#. Earlier roles included Test Engineer at Horstmann Controls and Design Technician at ABMS. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cardiff University, complemented by higher education in the same field from City of Bristol College and Gloucestershire College.
