Jaisen Kohmuench has extensive work experience primarily with Eriez, a company specializing in separation technologies. Jaisen started their career with Eriez in 2008 as a Manager in the Process Group, where they managed the laboratory and led efforts in developing and enhancing equipment for the minerals processing industry. In 2012, they moved to Eriez Flotation Division (EFD) as the Deputy Managing Director, a position they held until 2015. From there, they returned to Eriez and took on various leadership roles, including Managing Director from 2015 to 2018, Senior Director - Asia Pacific Operations & Strategy from 2018 to 2020, and Vice President International from 2020 to present. Recently, they have been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer, responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the company.

Jaisen Kohmuench pursued their education in the field of Mining and Mineral Engineering at Virginia Tech. Jaisen began their academic journey in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and completed it in 1995. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Jaisen went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) degree from Virginia Tech, which they completed between 1995 and 1997. Jaisen further continued their academic pursuits by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree at Virginia Tech, which they accomplished from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Jaisen Kohmuench obtained a Professional Engineer - Mining Engineer certification from the Pennsylvania Department of State in January 2014.
