John Benefield

John Benefield is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health data analysis and informatics management. Currently serving as a Senior Health Data Analyst at Erlanger Health System since June 2016, John previously held the position of Informatics Manager at CIGNA Healthcare from November 2004 to June 2016, where management of multiple teams across various functional areas was a key responsibility. Prior to that role, John worked as an IS Analyst at ExxonMobil from July 2002 to November 2004, focusing on the development of content management systems and interfaces for diverse client populations globally, with a particular emphasis on engineering data. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Alabama, completed between 1999 and 2002, and attended Northeast Alabama Community College from 1998 to 1999.
