Misti Mattox

Misti Mattox, MSN, RN, CNOR has a diverse range of work experience in healthcare. Misti currently serves as the Vice President of Surgical Services at Erlanger, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare as a Service Line Administrator for Surgical Services from February 2020 to October 2023. From August 2014 to May 2020, Misti was the Manager for various departments, including the Main Operating Room, Interventional Radiology, Hybrid/BiPlane, Anesthesia, and Perfusion Services at Sacred Heart Health System. Their career began at Erlanger Health System in July 2011, where they worked as a Registered Nurse in the ICU and OR until August 2014.

Misti Mattox has a comprehensive education history in the field of Registered Nursing. Misti obtained their Associate's degree in Registered Nursing from Georgia Northwestern Technical College from 2008 to 2011. Following that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2012 to 2014. Misti went on to earn a Master's degree in Registered Nursing from Jacksonville University from 2014 to 2016. Misti also pursued post-master's education in Executive Leadership: Strategic Planning at Walden University. In addition to their academic achievements, Misti holds various certifications, including Certified Nurse Operative Room (CNOR) from the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.
