Misty Brackett has extensive experience in healthcare administration and revenue cycle management. Misty Brackett currently holds the position of VP Revenue Cycle at Erlanger Health System, where they ensure compliance with regulations and sets revenue cycle performance goals. Prior to this, they served as VP PFS and Patient Access and Sr Director Revenue Cycle at Erlanger Health System, overseeing patient access functions and departments for multiple hospitals. Misty also worked at Erlanger Medical Center as a Physician Revenue Specialist and Compliance Auditor, focusing on improving the physician revenue cycle and monitoring compliance. Earlier in their career, they were the HIM Director and Privacy Officer at Mercy Medical Center, where they led health information management services and provided expertise on regulatory and privacy issues. Misty began their career at Healthport LLC as a District Manager of Operations, overseeing district operations for multiple health systems.
