Bret Hansen

Bret Hansen, PMP, is a Managing Consultant at ERM since September 2023, specializing in providing expert advice on environmental compliance and permitting issues in the energy and utilities sector. With a robust background in project management and experience handling complex teams and multimillion-dollar budgets, Bret previously served as an Environmental Project Manager at BHE Pipeline Group, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Earlier roles include Environmental Specialist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where Bret managed study designs and prepared NEPA documents, and Field Biology Intern at Wild Utah Project, contributing to ecological research in Utah. Bret holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University.
