Charles Macmichael is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental management and project oversight. Currently serving as Business Unit Managing Partner at ERM since January 2020, Charles drives performance for the Canadian Business Unit, overseeing a team of over 300 professionals and more than 20 Partners. Prior roles include Partner and Account Director at ERM, managing services for TC Energy, and various positions at Stantec, culminating as Environmental Project Manager and Principal. Charles has a strong background in regulatory compliance and environmental planning, with significant expertise in pipeline routing and electrical transmission projects across Alberta and British Columbia. A graduate of Dalhousie University with a Master of Environmental Studies, and Queen's University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology, Charles has also contributed to GIS research supporting environmental studies.
