Emmanuel Vaz

Emmanuel Vaz is a Principal Consultant in Energy & Infrastructure - Transaction Advisory at ERM, specializing in M&A and Private Equity advisory services with a focus on strategic, commercial, and technical due diligence in the energy sector, particularly low-carbon technologies such as Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS), Hydrogen, Biogas, and Energy from Waste (EFW). Prior to this role, Emmanuel was a Senior Economist at Mott MacDonald, providing technical and commercial transaction advisory for energy assets. Experience also includes serving as Head of Analysis for Latin America at FGE - Facts Global Energy, where responsibilities included oil and gas market forecasting, and as a Trade Advisor for the French Embassy in Brazil, conducting industry analyses in the Brazilian energy sector. Additional roles in procurement and market analysis were held in previous positions within the energy industry. Emmanuel holds multiple degrees, including a Master Award in Renewable Energy from the Renewable Energy Institute and a Master's in Energy and Environment Economics from IFP School.
