Nicol Joubert

Nicol Joubert is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental management, currently serving as Director at ERM since July 2025, where leadership is provided for the ANZ Health & Safety Practice. Previously, Nicol acted as Group Head of Risk for Australia and Canada at Evolution Mining, overseeing risk management in mining operations, and held the position of Head of HSE at TransGrid, directing sustainability and safety outcomes on major renewable energy projects. With earlier roles at Ausgrid and John Holland Group, Nicol has extensive experience in managing health and safety professionals across various sectors including construction and engineering. Notable contributions include major projects with Shell, where leadership in HSEQ and regulatory assurance was demonstrated, along with significant achievements recognized by the Chairman's Award for Safety Excellence in APAC. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in OHS & Environmental Management from Australian Catholic University and additional training from The University of Queensland and Harvard University.
