Ricardo Camargo

Ricardo Camargo has over twenty-eight years of experience in the environmental field, with notable roles at Environmental Resources Management (ERM) across Brazil, the USA, and South Africa. They joined Anglo American in 2008, managing the corporate environmental area of Iron Ore Brazil and overseeing various sustainability initiatives. Previously, Ricardo served as a Principal Consultant at ERM Southern Africa and worked as an Environmental Consultant in Brazil, where they led numerous projects for mining and oil companies. Currently, Ricardo is a Partner at ERM and is involved with the Sustainability, Performance & Assurance and Transaction Services Team. They hold a degree in Geology and multiple post-graduate qualifications in Environmental Management, Integrated Land Management, and Occupational Safety Engineering.
