Gerhard Eschelbeck

Gerhard Eschelbeck is currently an advisor at Ermetic. Prior to this, they served as a member of the supervisory board at Deutsche Bank from May 2017 to May 2022. From October 2014 to March 2019, they were the Vice President Security & Privacy Engineering (CISO) at Google. From October 2011 to October 2014, they were the CTO & SVP at Sophos. From January 2006 to September 2011, they were the CTO & SVP Engineering at Webroot. From May 2001 to December 2005, they were the CTO & VP Engineering at Qualys. And from January 1997 to December 2001, they were the SVP Engineering at Network Associates.

Gerhard Eschelbeck earned their PhD in Computer Science from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz. Gerhard also holds an MSc in Computer Science from the same school.
