Aurora Strauss-Reeves

Aurora has always been fascinated with human behavior and when they came across the Ernest Becker Outreach position they began to realize how Ernest Becker’s ideas seem to relate to almost every facet of life and society. Aurora now finds ways to weave Becker into almost every conversation with friends or family, much to everyone’s annoyance.

Aurora has always been a strong advocate for social justice causes and has done work with groups such as Planned Parenthood and The Sunrise Movement. Aurora believes that Becker’s ideas directly apply to the massive inequality in the world and is excited to be working on sharing this information with justice-based organizations.

Aurora studies Political Studies and Anthropology at Pitzer College, and is hoping to pursue an advanced degree in Psychology after graduation.
