Christian Gaier

Christian Gaier has extensive experience in investment management, particularly within the Global Emerging Markets sector, having served as Investment Coordination Lead CEE and CIO at Erste Asset Management GmbH since May 2006. Responsibilities include managing the Global EM Local Currency Short Duration Fund and the Global EM Local Currency Bond Fund, along with trading debt and FX for various funds. Prior to this, Christian worked at Generali Versicherung AG from September 2003 to April 2006, focusing on liquidity management and planning. Christian holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Information Business, and Risk Management & Insurance from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
