Karin Berger has extensive experience in communications and public relations within the banking sector, currently serving as Pressesprecherin at Erste Group Bank AG since July 2008, specializing in corporate and executive positioning, crisis management, and channel management. Prior to this role, Karin held the position of Pressesprecherin at Erste Bank und Sparkasse from July 2000 to 2008, focusing on the development of communication strategies across financial markets and product communications. Karin began a career at Erste Bank und Sparkasse in January 1997 as the head of CEE marketing. Karin is an alumnus of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
