Markus Kriegler

Markus Kriegler is an experienced finance professional with over two decades in various senior roles across multiple financial institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Group Corporates at Erste Group since June 2010, Markus Kriegler has also held significant positions including Head of Corporate Finance, Head of Merchant Banking, and Head of Corporate and Acquisition Finance. Prior to this, Markus Kriegler was the Head of Group Project Finance at Erste Bank Group from February 2008 to June 2010. Earlier career experiences include leadership roles in structured finance and corporate banking at HVB Czech Republic and HVB Yugoslavia, as well as a position in project finance at Bank Austria Creditanstalt. Markus Kriegler's education includes a diploma from BG Wien X, Ettenreichgasse, completed between 1981 and 1987.
