Simona Camelia Hajal

Simona Camelia Hajal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, specializing in factoring and supply chain finance. Currently serving as a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Business Support Specialist and Senior Product Manager at Erste Group Bank AG since December 2012, Simona develops new products, leads projects, and offers training across Erste group entities. Previously, Simona held key positions at BCR, including Head of the Factoring Department, and was a co-founder and Board member of the Romanian Factoring Association. Additional roles at ING involved managing international factoring products while driving product development and sales force training. Early career achievements include leading factoring activities at UniCredit Romania between 2002 and 2006 and developing the factoring team at BCR from 1998 to 2002. Simona holds a Master's degree in Finance and Banking from Academia de Studii Economice din București and earned a gold medal from the FCI International Factoring Course.
