Svetoslav Delev

Svetoslav Delev started their work experience in 2006 at FinAnalytica as a Junior Client Services Manager. Svetoslav then progressed to become a Senior Client Services Manager and later the Head of Client Services (EMEA). Svetoslav played a key role in acquiring the company's first private bank and sovereign fund clients and managed the biggest Fund of Funds accounts. Svetoslav also acted as a product and domain knowledge expert in the pre-sales process and represented the company at industry events. Svetoslav also contributed to the design of the stress testing module and worked closely with the quant and development team. In 2012, they became the Director of Global Client Services at FinAnalytica before moving to Erste Group in 2013. At Erste Group, they held different roles including Senior Risk Manager ICAAP and Risk Steering and Head of Market Risk Desk Control. Currently, they serve as the Head of Trading Book Risk Group at Erste Group.

Svetoslav Delev, FRM, holds an MSc degree in Financial Management and Accounting from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, earned between 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc degree in Financial Management, Accounting, and Economics from the same university, completed from 2000 to 2003. Svetoslav Delev's education history also includes a MA degree in Economics, Law, and International Trade from the University of Plovdiv "Paisii Hilendarski", acquired between 1996 and 2001. Svetoslav has also achieved the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) certification, accredited by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
