Roee Barak

Roee Barak has a wealth of experience in business development, sales, and legal fields. In 2020, they became the Co-Founder and CEO of Upword, an AI-powered summary editor for knowledge workers. Prior to that, from 2017-2020, they were the Head of Partnerships and Sales at Everthere, where they were responsible for adding digital impact at events and conferences. From 2016-2017, they worked at Crossrider Plc, where they held the roles of Business Development Manager and Head of Crossrider Innovations. In 2015, they were a Legal Intern at Tulchinsky Stern Marciano Cohen Levitski & Co. From 2013-2015, they were Business Development Lead and Business Development Manager at the Israel Mobile Association, where they were responsible for creating business acceleration and collaborations between Israeli mobile and New Media companies and the international key players.

Roee Barak obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Business Administration (B.A) from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) between 2011 and 2015, with a focus in Finance and General. In March 2019, they also obtained a certification from LinkedIn titled "Becoming Head of Sales: Developing Your Playbook".
