Blake Alsbrook

Blake Alsbrook is a Partner at Ervin Cohen & Jessup LLP, leading the Bankruptcy, Receiverships, and Creditors' Rights practice group since January 2020, providing legal counsel and acting as a receiver in various types of receiverships. Additionally, Blake serves as a Board Member for the California Receivers Forum and the Los Angeles County Bar Association Remedies Section. Prior experience includes being a Shareholder at Pasternak, Pasternak & Alsbrook, A Law Corporation, specializing in federal and state court receiverships, and an Associate at Sterling & Clack, A Professional Corporation, focusing on defense-side insurance and maritime litigation. Additionally, Blake gained legal experience as a Law Clerk for the San Francisco Superior Court and a Judicial Extern for the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Blake holds a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara.
