Kennedy Chihota

Kennedy Nyasha Chihota currently serves as the Managing Director at ERWAT since December 2021, bringing extensive experience in the water and sanitation sector. Prior roles include Director of Strategic Planning at Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Council, Manager of Network Planning at Johannesburg Water, and Principal Engineer for Water Demand Management at the City of Cape Town. Kennedy has also held leadership positions in the Capricorn District Municipality and has a strong academic background, with multiple master's degrees in engineering and business administration from prestigious universities, including Stellenbosch University and the University of Zimbabwe. Additionally, work experience spans various engineering and management roles within both local government and educational institutions.
