John Gaffney

John Gaffney is currently the Commercial Director at ES Global Ltd, where they manage significant projects such as Inland Border Control Points for DEFRA and various facilities for the NHS and upcoming Games in Paris. From 2008 to 2019, John served as a Partner at Arcadis, focusing on Sport and Stadia Projects and holding a Chartered Designation in Management Consultancy, Project Management, and Quantity Surveying. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director at James R Knowles Ltd from 1999 to 2008, contributing to major construction claims consultancy and overseeing the redevelopment of Wembley Stadium. John also worked as a QS and Procurement Manager at Sport England from 1996 to 1999, handling major lottery-funded projects across the UK. They are currently pursuing a BSc in Quantity Surveying at the University of Northumbria.
