Conor Maher-McWilliams

Conor has over 7 years’ experience in energy technology. Joining OVO in 2013, Conor played a fundamental role in the company’s energy trading team and later led OVO’s industry-recognised forecasting arm. Conor then spearheaded OVO's groundbreaking work on the domestic half-hourly settlement. At Kaluza, OVO's technology platform ecosystem, Conor has been crucial in the development of its flexibility offering. Driving the transition to a smart, zero carbon grid, Kaluza aims to securely coordinate and optimise millions of connected devices, including electric vehicles, heating systems, and home energy storage batteries. As Head of Flexibility, Conor collaborates with energy traders, TSOs and DSOs to resolve grid challenges with flexibility, helping to realise the industry’s goal of a sustainable and renewable energy ecosystem. Conor has a PhD in Physics from University College London.
