Jorge Vargas Ulate

Jorge Vargas Ulate is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, regional financial management, and operational finance across various industries. Currently, as the North America FP&A Director at ESAB since January 2020, Jorge leads efforts to achieve financial goals by fostering strong financial processes. Prior to this role, significant positions included Shared Services Manager and Finance Operations Business Partner at H.B. Fuller, where responsibilities encompassed financial stewardship across Latin America and global operations. Early career experience at Chevron and Texaco involved P&L management and financial oversight in various capacities, including Finance Director for Texaco Caribbean and Country Comptroller for Texaco Costa Rica. Jorge holds an MBA in International Business from Fundepos - Alma Mater University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Universidad de Costa Rica, complemented by CPA certification.
