Ipek Mutlu has a comprehensive work experience in the field of finance and investment. Starting in 2010, they pursued an MBA at Harvard Business School. Following that, they joined The Blackstone Group as a Private Equity Senior Associate in 2012. In 2013, they became an Investment Manager at Virgin Management. Ipek then served as a Board Observer at Virgin Care from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to the present, Ipek held various positions at Esas Holding, including Director of International Investments and later Managing Director & Head of International PE. Concurrently, they worked as a Board Observer at Phaidon International from 2018 to 2022. In 2020, they became a Board Member at BRUIN SPORTS CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, INC. Ipek's advisory roles include being a member of the LP Advisory Committee at SC Holdings Fund II and HQ Capital Auda Fund III in 2022, as well as an Advisory Board Member at Salonica Maroon Fund starting in 2021.
Ipek Mutlu attended Uskudar American Academy from 1994 to 2001. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Latin American Studies at Harvard University, from 2001 to 2005. Later, they attended Harvard Business School from 2010 to 2012, where they earned an MBA.
