Raju Mohan

Raju Mohan is the co-founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Escalier Biosciences. Prior to this, they were the founder and CEO of Ventyx Biosciences, Zomagen Biosciences, and Oppilan Pharma Ltd. Raju also served as the Executive Vice President Research and Founder of Alexar Therapeutics and the Chief Executive Officer of Akarna Therapeutic. Mohan has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Mohan received their bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Bombay University and their Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry from Purdue University. Raju completed post-doctoral fellowships at the University of California, San Francisco and at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies.

Raju Mohan has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
