David Heroux

David Heroux currently serves as the Director of Communications and Public Information for the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners since October 2021. Prior to this role, David held various positions in the television and media industry, including Creative Services Manager at OnMedia from October 2003 to December 2015, and Producer/Technical Director at HSN from January 1991 to 2002, where responsibilities included producing national TV commercials. David's extensive experience in broadcasting began as a TV Commercial Producer/Director at The Home Shopping Network from January 1987 to January 1991, after which roles included camera operator, technical director, and production manager. David's early career included serving in the US Navy from 1978 to 1982 as an Aircrew Antisubmarine Warfare specialist, flying missions aboard the USS John F. Kennedy.
