Jim Hagon is a seasoned design and project management professional with extensive experience in the civil engineering sector. Currently serving as Design Program Manager at Escambia County BCC since November 2016, Jim oversees an in-house design team within the Transportation and Traffic Division. Prior to this role, Jim spent a decade at DRMP, Inc. as a Senior Project Engineer, where complex Florida Department of Transportation and Escambia County projects were designed and managed, focusing on roadway enhancements and infrastructure improvements. With earlier engineering positions at Hatch Mott MacDonald, AECOM Consult, CTE Engineers, and Tetra Tech, Jim has developed a robust skill set in project prioritization, budget management, and adherence to deadlines. Jim holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation from Michigan State University and an Associate degree from Washtenaw Community College.
