Rona Liang

Rona Liang has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Rona began their career in 1996 as a Senior Bioanalytical Chemist at Analytical Solutions, Inc., a MDS Sciences Advancing Health. In 2001, they became a Consultant at Glisland, Inc. and in 2007, they were Lead Auditor at AP Pharma. In 2008, they were Director, Quality Operations at NeurogesX, Inc. where they directed QA Operations to support manufacturing and release of active pharmaceutical ingredient and finished drug products for commercial and clinical programs. In 2013, they were Compliance Manager at Hospira and Associate Director at XenoPort, Inc. Rona then moved to Heron Therapeutics, Inc. as Associate Director, where they led QA Operations to oversee CMOs manufacturing and testing activities for combination drug (parenteral, drug/device combination) manufacturing, testing, packaging and distribution. In 2015, they were Director of Quality Assurance at Versartis, Inc. and in 2018, they became Head of Quality Assurance at ChemoCentryx. Most recently, they are Executive Director, Quality at ESCAPE Bio.

Rona Liang holds a Master of Science in Food Sciences and Technology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
