Katy Dean

Katy Dean's work experience consists of various roles in the restaurant and franchise industries. Katy served as the Chief Operating Officer at Escapology from 2023 onward. Prior to that, they were the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Buddy's Pizza, where they oversaw multiple functions and led national expansion and modernization efforts from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they worked as the Vice President of Growth and Vice President of Marketing at Buddy's Pizza. From 2018 to 2020, they held leadership roles at WellBiz Brands, Inc., including Vice President of Operations & Marketing. Their earlier experience includes roles as Director of Marketing and Director of Franchise Operations Support at Fitness Together and as a Franchise Business Coach at Jimmy John's.

Katy Dean is an Executive MBA Candidate at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a BLA/MLA degree from Harvard University. Katy also attended Wayne State University's Prelaw Honors College. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained several certifications such as Brand Best Practices and Power Editor (Advanced Advertisers) from Facebook, Digital Analytics Fundamentals from Google Analytics Academy, Certified Social Media Professional from HootSuite, and Adwords Advertising Fundamentals from Google.
