Spencer Franklin has a diverse work experience with a focus on software engineering and game development. Spencer started their career in 2012 as a Swim Coach and later became a Head Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at MetroWest YMCA. In 2016, they worked as a Software Quality Engineer at ERT. In 2017, they interned at Eagre Games as a Game Design Intern, where they created 3D models and designed levels using Unreal Engine 4. Later that year, they joined mHealth Research Group as a Game Programmer, where they developed a browser game using Unity and C# to organize medical data through crowd-sourcing. In 2018, they worked at Eyewire as a Game Programmer, maintaining and improving the front-end and back-end features of the Citizen Science game using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PHP. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Escher Group.
Spencer Franklin attended Northeastern University from 2010 to 2014, where they received a High School degree. Then, from 2014 to 2018, they continued their education at Northeastern University, focusing on Computer Science and Game Design with no specified degree.
