Christiane Villescaz

Christiane Villescaz has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Christiane began their career in 2001 as a Research Associate II and Research Associate at Arizeke Pharmaceuticals. In 2005, they became a Senior Research Associate at Amylin Pharmaceuticals. In 2014, they worked as a Contractor in Toxicology at Celgene. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Scientist at Receptos, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Celgene. Most recently, they have been an Associate Director of Translational Biology and Drug Discovery and a Senior Scientist at Escient Pharmaceuticals since 2018.

Christiane Villescaz began their educational journey in 1992, when they attended Patrick Henry High School. Christiane then continued their studies at UC San Diego, where they earned a B.S. in General Biology in 2001. Christiane returned to UC San Diego to pursue an M.S. in Clinical Research, which they completed in 2010.
